It appears someone has etched GR 8-7-54 and 10-24-58
Late19th Century French Clock standing tall at 6.5\". The scrolling ormolu basesupports a nesting
porcelain bird, wreathed in a colorful array of magnificentporcelain flowers. Above the base the clock
rises on ormolu verdure, and isitself wreathed with additional porcelain blossoms. The flowers are
superb.Each one is unique and lavishly painted in fine detail. The quality of thispiece exhibited in the
exceptional artistic achievement we observe in theporcelain floral bouquets. A rare piece, remarkably
preserved. There are someminor chips on some blossoms but considering the abundance of fine
delicate details it\'s something of a miraclethat each flower remains at all, let alone largely intact.
Clearly, this piecewas well cared for; a cherished timepiece.
