This delightful early 1900s frame (bears a patent date of 1909 on the back) has a marvelously well-preserved surface of toned lacquer and gilt bronze framing a convex pane of glass. It measures 9” tall x 7 5/8: with 5 ¼” x 3 ¾” reveal and 5 7/8” x 4 3/8” back opening and bears the American maker’s mark on the prop. The design boasts arts and crafts inspired un-adorned surfaces accented by cast bowknot and floral corners and all of the metal is in very nice condition.
