The colors on this antique mesh purse are rich and bold. By Whiting and Davis, this sale brings you an art deco era mesh handbag with a bright green and black enamel frame. Wonderful fringe bottom. I\'m not sure it\'s ever been used. The inside mint green silk lining is in excellent condition. Original tissue insert in place. Accompanied with a small round mirror. I have looked at this from various angles, and I believe this is an image of a parrot/bird on a branch/perch.

The clasp is secure. Some of the chain links have enamel loss/spotting. Please see photos. I see no damage to the mesh. One side of the frame has a few oxidation spots. Again, see photo.

7 1/2\" long without chain to end of fringe. 4\" long useable space. 13 1/2\" long with chain.
