Up for sale is this antique Victorian quack ,edical Magneto-Electric shock machine. This machine was used to treat nervous diseases, as well as toothaches and whatever else ailed you! I think the machine is complete, but I\'m not sure. I hooked it up and followed the instructions, but I didn\'t get any shocks. Not sure if I was doing it right, or if it just doesn\'t work any more. There are some beautiful graphics on the label. The label is a little bubbly and lifting a little bit in parts, but is still affixed to the lid of the box pretty good. It looks like the band attached to the cog has been repaired with thread or string which is illustrated in the last photo. The handle moves freely and easily moves the blue velvet covered mechanism inside the box. The machine has some overall wear throughout due to its age. All in all a very neat and unique little quack medical device. The machine is quite heavy, so shipping is USPS medium flat rate box with & paypal shipping fees figured into the price.
