Up for Sale is a Beautiful Wall Map from 1862 featuring the Great State of Maine!This Original Civil War Era Map was the first complete road map of the state. In addition to every road, the mapmakers located every house and business in Maine with a small dot or square. It is a Huge map, measuring 63\"H x 63\"W. The bottom wood bar is 69\"L and the top is 67\".The Map includes 29 inserts of Towns and Cities. Including Presque Isle, Houlton, Calais, Bangor, Ellsworth, Eastport, Machias, Mountains of Maine (with heights), U.S. , Map of World, Belfast, Saco & offerdeford, Auburn & Lewiston, Rockland, Thomaston, Brunswick, Portland, Waldoboro, Bath, Farmington, Waterville, Augusta, Fryeburg, Paris Hill, Hallowell Gardiner, Dover & Foxcroft, Skowhegan, and Wiscasset.Some of the issues with this map are....tears, rips, holes, stains, and flaking.
