This is an excellent antique Meissen Germany match holder in the blue onion pattern. It is unique because of the details, the raised face at the top, right above hole for hanging, makes it so the face appears to be opening its mouth. Amazing color and shapes as well. It measures approximately 8 1/2\" x 4 1/2\" x 1 1/3\" and is in excellent condition with only a light amount of green earthquake putty which I was not sure how to take off so I left it alone. There are no marks on back that I can see.
