For your consideration a stunning find: Magnificent MID 1800s\' Meissen porcelain inkwell set in pristine condition with unused blotter.

The seven pieces set have two inkwells with their lids, blotter, tray and soap dish.In magificent antique condition, all of the hand painted colors are bright and perfect, free of cracks, chips or repairs. The beautiful white glossy porcelain is so stunning, and reflective. No wear to the porcelain or discoloration. Just as white as can be, with no wear or aging. All of the gold edging is pristine on all of the pieces with the exception of the slightest of wear on the raised border where the inkwell is placed on top. Not even worth mentioning. That is the only area on all pieces that there is any gold wear AT ALL.

There is one small indentation on the inside of one of the inkwells. On the edge of the inside of inkwell, where the lid is placed. I only found this when taking pictures. Not noticeable unless looking for it and it is not noticeable with the lid on. there is a magnified picture of it for you and with both inkwells together to show that it was not even noticed.

The blotter is truly magnificent, with it\'s heavily gold ornate setting. What is MOST RARE is the fact that the blotter was never used and still has the embossed paper covering attached over the piece.

All pieces finely decorated with the same design of hand painted floral design, butterflies, bugs and gold details.
