rusting. not bad. they are the only ones still with the original wood seats with stamps that tell how made them one seat is bad will need to be replaced if u wont to use it the other one is better but is at lease 100 years old best i can tell was told they are turn of the century ma by even
late 1800\'s googled the maker doze not ex-est any more. these chairs have cover put on the seats i do not wont to mess with them i like to leave stuff the way i find it so buyer can restore the way they wont . very rear love these chairs ...need to ask any thing fell free .
