This is a beautiful antique woven paisley wool shawl that measures 70\" x 70\".

This gorgeous shawl has the center field done in a soft black silk. Hand woven with floral botehs in rich rust tone colors. Very fine quality wool weave. Finished with fringe on 2 sides, C. 1850. I believe this shawl was made in Kashmir, India. The center is silk and has split from age.Excellent condition for the rest of the shawl. An expert will know how to restore the silk center, and a shawl of such exquisite quality is well worth the restoration.
