Amazing piece that looks like lily of the valley sprigs to me - each individual flower is made up of small feathers - just amazing the detailing in this and cannot imagine how many hours this would have taken and definitely very steady hands. I am in awe of the work that went into this. The neon colored feathers do not appear to have been dyed - they appear to be the natural color though have no idea what type of bird they would be from. Very intricate detailing in the tiny flowers and in the way each one is wrapped - another museum piece to my way of thinking. This amazing piece was with the hummingbird and beetle wing flower that I just sold. It is very hard to show in the pictures just how amazing it is so will try to get additional pictures tomorrow. An estate sale find as found - there is nothing I would try and do to it as I believe that as is it is gorgeous. It would make an amazing addition to a hat or as with the hummingbird flower - framed for display. Thank you for looking!!
