Antique Miniature JAPANESE CLOISONNE VASE by ANDO JUBEI; Meiji Period, c.1880:
$159.00

An amazingly beautifulAntique MeijiPeriodMiniature JapaneseCloisonné Vase by Ando Jubei, which came out ofa box of Orientalia that was left to me and I\'m now listing. I actually took it out over a year ago, took the photos but decided to enjoy it for awhile before selling it.It iscirca1890 and decorated with goldstone and polychrome enamels; it has four wonderful medallion shields with both dragons and Birds, the intricate and detailed fine silver wire work is quite incrediblethroughout and it\'s many colors are just beautiful. It is in Excellent Condition and measures 4 6/8 inches tall, 1 9/16 inches in diameter at the base, 1 1/16 inches diameter at the top and 2 5/16 diameter at their widest part of the body. I have sold some amazing cloisonné pieces through the years (for as high as $1,950) and believe this is the second or thirdnicest I have sold. It is nicely signed with theAndo JubeiMark on the bottom, as seen in the third photo. Please excuse the photos being that I\'m still a novice when it comes to photography and the lighting conditions were not that great (I will in the near future take some better photos); they just don\'t do it justice. It is rare to find the great miniature ones that are important, such as this one. This incredible Cloisonné Vasewould make a wonderful addition to any Japanese Collection, Orientalia Collection, Cloisonné Collection, Art Collectionor any home for that matter.Thank you for viewing this amazing piece, have a wonderful day and be good to oneanother!Note: I would greatly appreciate a 5 star rating, being that judgessellers with this system and charges more to sellers whodon\'t maintain this rating and it also effects the placement of our listings; I describe the items as they are, give a detailed condition report and mention all damage, if any at all; I ask that you keep in mind that antiques and vintage items in good condition will usuallyshow a small amount of wear, as expected, due to their age, which is why I may call something excellent condition, very good condition, good condition or fair condition, but I will not call something pristine or mint, unless it has never been used or handled and shows no wear, due to age and handling; I will ship within1 day of your paying for the item, if not sooner; I will answer all questions, so don\'t hesitate to ask (there are no silly questions); I am happy to add more photos, though I tend to putthe maximum in the listing, so as to show all the detail of the antique, jewelry or Art; when it comes to shipping, I usually pay for the shipping and if for some reason I have to charge -I only charge fora portion of theactual shipping charges (I don\'tcharge for bubble wrap, insurance ordelivery confirmation) and if we save any money at all on shipping, I will refund that amount to you; should the shipping cost more than you are charged, I will absorb the added cost andit\'ll be my gift to you; should something be damaged in shipment, all I ask is that you contact meright away and then take the item and it\'s original packaging back to the Post Office for inspection, at which time I will refund your moneyand make you whole, prior to my getting the insurance settlement (fortunately we pack everything extremely well). Therefore, if you are dissatisfied with your purchasein any way or if you are unhappy for any reason, please contact me as soon as possible, so we can work together toward a positive solution. I, upon receiving your response, will reciprocate! I believe, as my mentor says: \"We were placedon this Earthto see one another through - not to see through one another\" and I want everyone to have a very positive buying experience and hopefully add me to their favorites list.
