This chair was made by the Mohegan Tribe for my great grandmother who was Native American This chair has been well kept and stored inside. It still has the leather intact on the seat. Museum Quality. Original mid 1800\'s handmade in Connecticut chair with complete in tact cowhide seat. We have no room for it anymore. I have another recently found in my grandmothers old water house It is hand made in like manner but in a bit worse shape on top ifinterested.
