THIS IMPRESSIVE ITEM IS AN ANTIQUE SHIVITY ILLUMINATE MANUSCRIPT, HANDPAINTED and HANDWRITTEN on paper by a very talented scribe.
A treasure from Morocco, related to the 1800\'s or earlier.
Very beautiful calligraphy and colors, it si really superb .
This item was made as a gift for wedding , in addition to the usual content of a ritual shivity it includes verses of greetings, making it very unique:
ויתן לך הא-להים מטל השמים ומשמני הארץ ורב דגן ותירש
ויתן לך את ברכת אברהם
שוש אשיש בה\' תגל נפשי בא-להים כי ילבישני בגדי ישע מעיל וצדקה
It is mounted in a very beautiful frame (recent or maybe retored)with colors that fits to the shivity.
This kind of items were typical ornament in jewish homes and in sepharadic synagogues, it is hung on the Eastern wall within the house, facing Jerusalem.
It is called also Mizrach.
It is written in Menorah shape formed from texts of psalms kabbalistic names.
This is an authentic judaica item, it is very charming, with a very spiritual presence.
It may also be offered to a synagogue or used to ornate a Sukkah.
Condition: stains, folded, tears, lacks of painting in the shivity and on the frame,trace of repairs, please refer to pictures
