An Antique Negretti & Zambra Brass Cased Pocketwatch Type Compass.

A scarce item.

Guaranteed to be a genuine and original early piece, not a copy or reproduction.

Marked on the Dry Clear Card, Negretti & Zambra, London.

The Card is in good order, no major damage or cracks and clearly legible, as shown, it moves quickly to find North, 100% accuracy cannot be guaranteed due to the age of the Piece but it seems fine.

The Exterior is in good used condition with only surface patina of age and use, with no cracks, splits, dents or other structural damage, all as shown very clearly in the Photographs.

The Lid Hinge moves firmly and smoothly with no signs of excess wear or weakness.

The Lid closes flush and securely.

Glass intact with no chips or major damage.

A very nice collectible and genuine Antique Compass.
