As an \"olde picker dude\" would say, \"oldbox in an oldbox in an atticfresh find\", straight from an oldgents old house/estate/tag sale just last weekend. Use the close-up-\"zoom\" feature for best viewing, excuse the under-lit pic, much brighter in person. Super \"looker\", good \'n old, circa early 1900\'s. Royal Ruby Red \"flash\" with gold painted peen (hammer end) & clear handle. Ax head has a chunk off the bottom corner of the \"blade\" & a small chip off of the top corner of the \"blade\" end, \"blade\" edge has couple tiny \"bites\", nothing obtrusive. Otherwise no other chips, no cracks, \"flash\" is good & strong, not all scratched or \"nipped\"up. Tad over 6\" long, head is 3\" wide. Just 1 last thing, I marked it as being made in the US, could have also been made in Canada, who\'s to know & as usual, & since I\'m not 100% either way certain,any final call(s) are up to you. ....
