This is an fumed oak luncheon table.Measures 30 X 30, 29.25.It has a very early Paine Furniture label,. My research revealed that Paine only offered to makers for their Arts and Crafts oak funiture. The two makers was Stickley and Lambert. It could be either.The oak was fumed instead of stained. A process they used with ammonia and a chamber. This piece was fumed green.I purchased this table and it had been
.painted. I removed the paint with a scraper, I gently sanded it and gave it one coat of tung oil.It is 100 years old and is still a very sturdypieceof furniture.There is some joints opening, see the photo\'s, These small blemishes can be repaired, but I left it as is.Pick up in Boston area.
