OLD PARIS HISTORYOld Paris, or as the French say, Vieux Paris Porcelain, refers not to a single manufacturer, but to more than thirty porcelain sources based with in the city of Paris betweenmid -1700\'s until around 1870. These wares were produced mostly in the northeast side of Paris by highly skilled artisans. Their works ranged in styles from neo-classical, rococo revival to renaissance revival, and many had their on patrons from the French nobility. No porcelain mark ever came to be synonymous with Old Paris china. Actually around 70% of the production during its era had no marks at all.
