Here we have a RARE find and that would be an original , authentic antique Front Barrel Band from a US model 1841 Mississippi Rifle. Came from a rare example made by Tryon but should fit and be correct for ones made by other makers.. Brass Has not been buffed or messed with and has a beautiful patina. Not crushed or bent. Iron swivel has some rusting but still moves freely. Please see my photos which show everything well. Nice original front barrel band for probably the most beautiful of all US Military rifles.
