Estate sale purchase from a local antique dealer.Gorgeous antiqueoval wood & gesso frame.It has a gold gilt finish with a few areas of age related patina. There is an area ofdamage at the very bottom part of the frame(see photo #5). There is onetiny littlepiece missing on the right hand side toward the end of the decoration. Otherwise, this frame is in very good condition considering its age. The convex glass is still present. The frame houses a photograph of a very modestly dressed woman.She even has gloves that go all theway up toher elbows. She is holding a bouquet of flowers in one had, andwhat looks to be a bible in the other. She has such a serious look on her face, it makesyou wonder just what she may be thinking. Image area is 13-1/2\" x19-1/2\". Outer dimensions are18-1/2\" x 24-1/2\". Molding is about 3\" wide. Please view photos carefully to see the lovely detail, andto help assess condition.
