A very lovely and ornate Victorian Brooch. Features in the centre, either a Dragon or a Griffin with its raised wings and curled tail. I am not sure from what metal this is made.It is a dull Gold Tone. There are four Amethyst stones on the edge of the piece. I am not sure if they are real Amethysts or not, but he certainly appear as if they could be so. The stones are surrounded by a very attractive raised design on each side of them. It truly is a stunning piece of antique jewelry. Size is approximately 1 1/2\" X 2 1/2\".
