Antique paper mache Easter Bunny Rabbit.

Viewing and collection welcome from GL14 1PQ area.

NOT a candy container but a rare figurine maybe for shop display. Original paint, although there is some minor loss (see pictures). Bunny was very well made and has certainly stood (or sat) the test of time. Stands 25cm tall. NOT MARKED, but I am assuming it is German. Looks like the other marked Germany pieces that I acquired in Germany some years ago.

It is very rare for old Paper Mache Animals to come up for sale in the UK. A bit dusty needs cleaning really gently probably with cotton wool. Great detailing with primitive folk art on body.
