History of company: In 1884 Aikin, Lambert & Co of New York were listed as importers of Paul Breton watches. Breton\'s trademark was \"A, LA CO\" between scrolls and outside \"Paul Breton\" , and this was registered in 1898 as belonging to Aikin Lambert, so it may be that the name was itself not a real manufacturer but just a brand name of the American company. The trade mark was discontinued by 1915.An example of a Paul Breton watch is given \"a high grade 21-jewel KW watch in a silver hunting case\".
