This is a spectacular piece. Very detailed hand etching over superb repousse. You can see the remnants of the silver plating around border and on portrait. I am dating this piece from the 19th century or early 20th. 1850-1920s. Perhaps earlier. The patina on back suggests a minimum of that dating. Inspect the pics and you be the judge. The front has been polished for an outstanding display piece. (Not by me). The work on this piece is from a very skilled craftsman, but I do not see a makers mark.
