Here for sale is an antique portrait oil painting of a gentleman on board. The painting is very well-executed, and is in the state of good preservation. We looked carefully, but could not find any signature. There is some paint loss, mostly at the top of the board. There is also minimal paint loss on his outfit, and above his right ear. There is an oval shadow where this painting once sat in a frame. We are not sure who this gentleman is, but it probably of a religious, or scholarly nature. Notice the brooch around his neck, and cap. Please ask questions before purchasing. We ship USPS Priority, including Insurance.
