For your consideration we offer an antique berry bowl set consisting of amaster bowl plus 6 berrie bowls.Each piece beautifully decorated. I have to be honest and say that I keep going from transfer to handpainted, so I am guessing it is transfer with handpainted highlights. Today one could use the set in various settings, afternoon tea, salad, ice cream, pudding anywhere one wants to add a little old world charm without being too fussy. Colors are a pale turquoise with pink and white flowers and thin black line and gold edge. Marked PM Bavaria on the underside for Porzellanfabrik Moschendorf A.G. which was in operation from 1895- 1937 (thank you PM&M - Porcelain Marks and More). This set would have been manufactured between 1895 and 1910. Each flower is different which would indicate handpainting, but upon closer inspection leaning towards transfer withalot of handpainted highlights.I do not see much wear at all to the flowers, the set was well cared for. Would make a nice gift for anyone who is seting up house and loves flowers, but does not like the heavy gilded sets. The set is nice and simple. All pieces marked with the green crown PM and Bavaria. Master bowl measures: 2 3/8\"h x 9\"w x 5\" base, the berries: 1 3/8\"h x 5 1/4\"w x 3 1/8\" base. Shipping to the lower 48 will be $Free, others please message for quote.
