Antique Primitive 1903 Table Mount Ironing Board -Cast Iron+Wood Great Patina:

This old Table top ironing board is in great shape and has a really nice patina! It is dated with a patent date of Feb. 17, 1903 clearly cast into the side of the iron base. The ironing board was meant to clamp to a table that most of the ironing was done on. when doing sleeves or pant legs, the board could be pivoted down from an upright out of the way position.

The wood has a great dark and deep patina, there is a bit of old paint remnants, and other use marks, but there are no chips or cracks in the wood. The cast metal base is easy to use and also in great condition. The clamp is strong and holds the board steady. The underside of the wood shows saw marks and was not smoothed to the same extent as the top.

The ironing board could be used as an ironing board or would be nice for a display shelf for your antiques!

It measures 25\" long, 7\" high and 5\" wide. There are no other markings other than the patent date.

The green table is not included.
