ANTIQUE/PRIMITIVE CAST IRON (SAD IRON) which measures 3-1/2 wide x 6-1/4\" long. By pulling on a side lever it separates into two pieces. The handle is black wood attached with nut and screw. The words imprinted on the bottom piece are PATENT - SADIRON. It shows age and rust. This iron weighs 5 lbs-8oz. Nice and heavy and could be used as a door stop. Needs some rust removal and a finish and it would look GREAT!
