Lovely and rare estate find: an antique Art Deco collapsible metal mesh compact purse case, plus another cosmetics compact in a reptile-look case marked \"Lady Janis\"; these came from a private estate collection; the mesh bag has a leather interior that looks surprisingly clean, given the age; the metal has darkened on both pieces and they show typical finish wearBoth are very old , pre-owned & pre-loved and show age-appropriate wear & use; as you can see, neither have been cleaned--these will come to you as they came to me--but they still function well overall and they look good for being nearly 100 years old; they have wonderful Art Deco designs to the exteriors and were well-made and they hark back to a time when much attention was paid to detail when it came to these kinds of accessories--~ Neat finds to add to a vintage vanity collection ~
