This beautiful French Georgian necklace consists of twenty-two rows of 2.2mm Faux pearls, painstakingly hand-strung onto a Sterling silver paste pave-set clasp, the necklace has five matching spacers.

Hallmarked 925 with another hallmark.

The Georgians made faux pearls using paste from fish scales.

A lovely historic piece of jewellery, this necklace is in good condition but needs restringing in a couple of sections. The Silver has a rose gold gilt finish, all the paste stones are intact and there are a few loose pearls for restringing.

The Antique case has the original silk lining and paper insert.

Condition: Good Antique condition - A few rows need restringing.
