Description
Wonderful antique Regency reticule or purse, which has been completely micro beaded with brightly coloured beads, in figural design, featuring a gentleman in a wooded area with stags to one side, and a Sheppard with animals to the other. The purse has green corded drawer string handle to the top edge, which is looped through ormolu loops, and is linen in cream linen.AGECirca 1825-30.SIZE17cm (6¾") long15.5cm (6") wideCONDITIONThe purse is in a good condition for considerable age and delicate nature. There are several holes and missing sections to the beadwork, mainly seen to the top edges, although it is still a fine example of it\'s type.
