Up for sale we offer a Rare Doulton Lambeth Art Pottery Miniature Vase. This is an Antique Victorian piece, through and through made at the Royal Doulton Art Pottery Studio\'s in England. The Vase is a cutie at 3 1/2\" tall by 2 3/8 \" in dia. . Completely hand made & hand decorated by the Artists at the Doulton Studio\'s. There are some tiny potters marks on the bottom as well. The Vase is marked on the bottom impressed in the clay with the Royal Doulton Silicon Mark. It also has the number 6142 stamped in the wet clay before it was fired. This Vase is quite intricate has all its relief intact. There are a few firing imperfections due to its Victorian time of modeling. The top edge has some tiny bubbles and dust under the glaze, and there is one \"pop\" mark on the side as well. No damage, no cracks no chips, nor restoration. The Clay is a beautiful deep brown with applied two tones of blue & darker brown clay, and cream color. The entire background from top to bottom is impressed with decoration. The top edge has one of the most amazing ruffles on pottery we have ever seen. We have had few Doulton Silicon miniatures with this much detailed relief decoration, and in such great condition. It is unusual and quite rare. The decoration is very delicate like a Wedding Cake and it is also hard to find with all this beauty intact.
