This sale is for a beautiful, silver walrus figurine. It measures approximately 4 1/4\" long, 2 3/8\" deep, and 2 1/8\" high and it weighs 140 grams on our postal scale. The bottom is hallmarked with a Cyrillic signature \"IP\". We have found some information indicating this is a mark of Julius A. Rappoport, an artist who worked extensively for Faberge. It also bears the Second Kokoshnik Mark with a small triangle for Moscow and the number 88. Finally, there is another lady\'s head mark. This piece is in very good condition, as shown in the photos. It is missing one of its gemstone eyes. Also, it should be noted that it looks as though the tusks were glued back in place at some point and they are slightly crooked.Please check out our store, as we have more Russian silver for sale and we will gladly combine shipping charges.
