Fine quality example of antique Imperial Russian bronze made by famous artist Evgeny Lanceray [1848-1886]. This work of art dated 1870. Difficult to find, especially in this original good condition. Depicting a young in fur cap and boots lying on the back of a cart full of wheat drawn by two oxen. Inscribed with signature. Chopin foundry mark and Ministry of Finance stamp dated 1870. Length 20 1/2 in., Height 8 1/2 in., width 7 1/2 in.
