Description:Antique Russian porcelain gravy boat from the Banquet Service of Tsarevich Alexander Alexandrovich (later Tsar Alexander III), Kuznetsov Factory, circa 1892. The scalloped rim is decorated with an elaborate border in red and gold and surmounted by his double “A” cipher beneath the Imperial crown. This service was ordered for the future Emperor Alexander III while he was still a Grand Duke and was used at the Anichkov Palace in ST 1/4” H X 10 3/4” W (15.8 x 27.3 cm).
Condition:Wear to the gilding, small chips to the base rim.
