This antique icon is hand made in XVIII century during the times of the Russian Empire. The wooden frame has some cracks, some of them has been glued. The Coating is made of copper, which is silver-plated. The icon is hand painted with an amazing style - part of the new Russian iconography school, which differs from the traditional medieval way of painting icons. This is one true gem, which comes from an age passed long time ago. I really want this icon to find its owner, who will cherish this piece of art as much as I do.
