It is hallmarked (please see photos) 800 silver with gold emblem on the front with intricate flower engravingI think it dates late 19th century ~ however, it has been dated at the front in a later stageInside the case some description which written in Lithuanian/ possibly belong to an officer(possible translation: Budek homeland we guard with you in the Christmas festivities, to his superiors officers)
