Early 1900s antique pre prohibition saloon back bar whiskey advertising bottle - height is appx 10 inches; in large incised / cut lettering that is filled with gold leaf: HARVARD / CLUB with a gold line under the word CLUB; the bottle has cut panels down the neck and cut facets and smaller panels around the shoulder and around the side above the base; the bottle would date around 1900 or so and is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or inside haze or stain; there is some wear on the \"v\" in \"Harvard\" - please see all five photos and you can see the gold lettering close up; I\'ve sold lots of bar bottles but have not seen a HARVARD CLUB back bar bottle; the brand is not listed in any of my sources (usually a whiskey brand in the pre 1900 era and after 1900 were registered with the U.S. Government); so, no information on the brand name or owner; but, I know there are lots of Harvard Clubs around the U.S. with the oldest probably being in New York City. The postage is based on 2-3 pound shipping weight - any excess will be refunded.
