Antique Scottish Oval Cabochon Agate Sterling Silver Brooch/Pin:

This is a fabulous Scottish Agate with Sterling Silver frame Brooch/Pin. Stone is cabochon cut, flat on bottom, convex on top (like a dome). The color of the stone is varied with browns and yellows and some dark brown specs. Set into a double levelraised frame and above the pin base, smooth. Back of the pin is opento see the beautiful stone as well.

FYI: Pic 5 shows a dark streak in curve, it is a shadow when pic taken, it is not in the stone.

Measures a little over 1/4\" high at center of dome from pin frame , 1 1/4\" long.

Clasp is old \'C\' clasp, hinge and pin in good working condition. Silver can be polished, I did not clean the pin, leaving to buyer to decide.

No damage detected.
