ANTIQUE SCOTTISH STERLING SILVER 12\" TRAY/SALVER - GLASGOW 1904 - ZODIAC SIGNS:

This is a superb antique Edwardian hallmarked sterling silver tray/salver measuring 12\" (30 cms) across. It weighs 787 grams and is in excellent condition. Around the edge of the tray are the 14 signs of the zodiac (some people believe there are 14 signs of the zodiac). Around the centre are patterns and animals and in the centre it is engraved with a heraldic stags head with motto \'Si Deus Quis Contra\'. It\'s hallmarked for Glasgow 1904 with the silversmiths mark for Lawson & Co who worked from Buchanan St, Glasgow. It sits on three feet and is in super condition with no damage (any marks you can see are just reflections) - please see photos and email elliejbush@gmail.com if you have any queries.
