Beautiful hand worked lidded silver cosmetic or spice pot. I purchased this in Afghanistan but believe it is an Indian kumkum box. Peacock on lid with hand worked floral design. I believe the metal is silver but it is unmarked so I cannot guarantee composition. Excellent antique condition with original patina. Weighs 1.1 oz. I was told by the seller this pot is 19th century.
