Youare offerding for an antique solid silver fully hallmarked vesta case / matchsafe. This is a \'flip top\' case, with engraved relief design and the initials \'WJ\' to one side. The case is hallmarked on the body for Birmingham, 1902 (c) and the maker Harley & Co. with a matching mark within the lid. It has a loop for attachment to a watch chain or similar. The case measures ~4cms X 2.5cms and weighs 14.46gms

Thecase is in very fine condition. No dings, crisp design, not overly rubbed. The lid fits well, opens quite easily and shuts tightly. The striker is clean with little wear. Hallmarks are easily readable. A very nice example.
