This is a superb quality, very rare and large antique sterling silver Victorian circa 1880 Scottish Cairngorm citrine triple kilt pin brooch. I have never seen a piece like this where the craftsman has used just gemstones from the Cairngorm mountain range for all the stones. The result is a remarkably rare and beautiful kilt pin or large brooch.

A thistle cut Cairngorm tops a beautifully hand-engraved scabbard set with all quartz gemstones from the Cairngorm mountain range including champagne quartz and golden citrines. They have all been tested by a local jeweler to confirm they are genuine quartz stones.

The brooch has no hallmarks which is fairly normal for brooches of this period, but has been fully tested and is sterling silver. The length is huge at just under four inches. The pin and C clasp are in good working order and original.

This is a fabulous large piece collectors will certainly appreciate! The brooch is in collector quality condition. A wonderful addition to your fine agate jewelry collection! Enjoy!
