Antique Solid 18ct Gold Masonic Lapel / Stick / Tie Pin Square and Compasses This is a superb antique Masonic stick pin and is the highest quality example that I have personally encountered. The top is made out of solid 18 carat gold and depicts the masonic square and compasses. These have been expertly hand engraved with very intricate detailing, which must have been carried out by a true master of their craft. Not only is the top of the piece solid 18 carat gold but the pin portion is also made out of solid 9 carat gold, this being an uncommon feature since base metal was often favoured to reduce cost. No expenses have been spared in the creation of this fantastic piece of jewellery and this is immediately obvious from looking at the rich, deep gold tone of the 18 carat gold and the ornate engraved decoration. The top of the pin measures approx. 15mm by 13mm and the pin is approx. 82mm in total length.
