One of a kind estate acquired ornate antique French mantle carriage clock. Handmade by a master artisan, around the turn of the century circa 1900 Bronze, Gold Gilt, and Spelter clock with a quartz clock movement snapped into the bezel face opening of the clock. The clock is made from spelter, which clocks were made from in that era, and has marble, and gold gilt accents on the sides. Measures about 18.75 inches wide by 14.5 inches high. Weighs 13.04 pounds. The back of the clock, the rear bezel ring assembly is not completely flush fitting because the original movement was removed at one time, but this back side faces the wall, and is not noticeable at all. This does not effect the appearance of the clock in any way. This high quality clock is really nice looking, highly detailed, and very beautiful with a curly haired woman pouring water from a vase for her toddler holding a gold gilt cup. The brand new quartz movement runs on two AAA batteries which are included in the movement. This is a great very old decorative clock for a collector, or enthusiast with a modern day battery operated movement placed in the front opening for everyday enjoyment, and to make the clock displayable, and usable in a person\'s home.
