Very nice Vintage MESH PURSE HANDBAG with Sterling Chain . Nicely embellished with a floral design on frame.

Marked oninside framewith impressed mark : \"Sterling \" along with L.V.( Louis Stern) . Purse measures 6-3/4\" (across top frame )x 6-1/2\" . Weights 298 gr or 10.5oz. - Chainhas 8\" drop.

I had this purse for many years, safely stored in a dry, dark area. but because of aging, sterling silver shows some darkening. I preferred to leave purse in this way, ( I am afraid to ruin original patina), so purse has not been cleaned or polished.

Might need professional cleaning. I never had the chance to use the purse, after I received it as a gift from a relative.

Mesh is firmly attached to frame - Mesh is intact with no holes . Ball/snap closure is in perfect working order, closes firmly.
