This antique yew bookcase was crafted in England around the year 1960. The yew displays a rich complexion and a striking grain that contrast beautifully with the brass swan neck pulls. Each drawer continues to operate very smoothly and features quality dovetailed joints. The shelf easily adjusts with brass pin supports. Overall this bookcase remains very sturdy, although the wood has sustained a number of very minor crackled areas to the top, so the condition is good. This yew bookcase would be ideal in any period style office furniture collection for use anywhere you need a piece with shelf and drawer storage. This lovely yew bookcase was crafted in England around the year 1960.
