You may be offerding on this hard to come by original stereoview of Ulysses S. Grant one year prior to his election as our 18th President. John Gurney & Son photographed Grant in 1867 and created this stereoview card. You can read how these photographs were approved in the Clerk\'s Office from the Southern District of New York. The card measures 7 x 3 1/2 inches while each photograph measures 3 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch. Although Grant\'s image is vivid and clear, foxing is apparent on this 148 year old stereoview card.
