I have this gorgeousvictrola phonograph dated March of 1923 in very good condition made by VictorTalking Machine Co. from Camden, New Jersey. I am not very familiar with thesemachines but this seem that is was very well taken care of. I got it from an EstateSale. It is nice and clean. It works well. It plays great. It is impressive howloud this mechanical item can produce nice/clear sounds.

This particular modelVV-50 of Victor has the wind up hook-up on the side instead of in the front likeothers. This detail makes it even more pleasurable and admirable while you playand enjoy the sounds it produces.

The felt on theturntable seems to be original, with some wear and light stains. The insidewood part of the top cover has a few needle marks from probably when themachine was stored without properly putting the \"arm\" back in itsplace.

The top interior lidhas a spare-needle compartment as well as hooks to hold the crank while not inuse.

The metal hardwaredefinitely show some wear. They are not as shiny as they probably were backwhen the machine was new. Some have the plated area faded and light rust aswell. After all it is almost 90 years old.

I am including a fewextra needles.
