This is is a truly stunning Victorian 15ct Solid Gold Lace Pin/Brooch set with a beautiful oval faceted Amethyst in a claw setting surrounded by Seed Pearls.This fine quality Brooch is marked \'15ct\' on the reverse confirming that it is the very finest quality being made from Solid 15ct Gold(please seethe detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of theitem\'s description).

This gorgeous Brooch comes complete with it\'s original hinge & \'C\' Clasp. At first glance the pin would appear to be slightly bent but this is as it was intended to be; it was made this way toaccommodatethe shape of the Amethyst. The point of the pin protrudes over the edge of the Brooch, which is typical of Victorian brooches; as the longer pins were needed to hold with the thicker hand made fabrics worn during this period.
