Antique NecklaceThis sale is for a really nice and very old antique 1890s twisted rope chain. The old chain has a very heavy and solid clasp and it’s really long, measuring about 50" long. The heavy chain was tested in two spots and the test indicated it was a very low karat solid gold – probably 8K or lower – but I can’t be 100% sure it doesn’t have a brass core, so please offer accordingly. It definitely has the qualities of solid gold jewelry especially at the clasp. No markings. Total weight is 84.6 grams.
